It is a great
privilege and an honor for savvyplanners.com to have become a member of the International Special Events Society this
week.
“The International
Special Events Society (ISES) was founded in 1987 to foster enlightened
performance through education while promoting ethical conduct. ISES works to
join professionals to focus on the "event as a whole" rather than its
individual parts. ISES has grown to involve over 4,000 members active in 41
chapters throughout the world. Membership brings together professionals from a
variety of special events disciplines including caterers, meeting planners,
decorators, event planners, audio-visual technicians, party and convention
coordinators, educators, journalists, hotel sales managers and many more
professional disciplines. The solid peer network ISES provides helps special
events professionals produce outstanding results for clients while establishing
positive working relationships with other event colleagues.
The Mission of ISES
is to educate, advance and promote the special events industry and its network
of professionals along with related industries.
To that end, we
strive to…
- Uphold the integrity of the special events profession to
the general public through our "Principles of Professional Conduct

oz Champagne
1/3 oz cognac
2 dashes Angostura® bitters
1 tsp sugar
Soak
one sugar cube in a champagne flute with angostura bitters. Add champagne and
cognac.
Squeeze
in a twist of lemon and discard. Garnish with half a slice of orange.

Certified event is not mandatory for our clients but available as an option to
those which seek to be eco-savvy in their event planning and design.
Since our launch in 2004, savvyplanners.com has been extremely concerned
about the effect our client's events had on our environment. After trying
for more than two years to earn or locate an Eco-Certification program
especially for Wedding and Event planners, savvySustainability ™ was
born.

They will receive the official, high resolution and

clients actively seeking them!

In fact, our CEO ordered Mother's Day flowers from one of our affiliates. They were shipped overnight from the grower, on time, well packaged, organically grown, enormous, fragrant and gorgeous pink and white lilies! The arrangement included lime leaves, bear grass, eucalyptus and was so large that they had to be moved to a vase three times larger than the one that was included with them (Pictured below ---from the grower's website...the actual arrangement the CEO ordered is more than 14 inches tall at the tallest). Breathtaking.
