New Firm now member of America's
First and Oldest Gay Chamber of Commerce During 25th Anniversary
What a privilege to be In the presence of the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, membership, esteemed
visitors, guests and special guest speaker, HANNS EBENSTEN, (Founder: Hanns Ebensten Travel) Keynote
speaker at the IGLTA (International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association) convention. Hanns Ebensten created gay
travel in 1972 when he organized the first trips for gay men.
savvyplanners.com was officially introduced as member to the above assembled at the Holiday Inn Beachside
Conference Center the June General Membership Luncheon of the Guild.
Represented at the function by its CEO, the firm was given warm rounds of applause and again following comments
about his being honored, pleased and privileged to be among the best of Key West's businesses and pledging to be
of whatever support that the firm a, as a member, could be. He was thanked kindly with more applause from the
membership.
"It seems to me that the membership of this organization is so filled with some of the most hard-working, daring and
enchanting people on this island. I am humbled by this group and look forward to meeting and exceeding the
expectations of a member of the Guild There is a legacy of diligence and rigor of which I am looking forward to
becoming a part."
Three outstanding Key West Business Guild members also introduced at this function were: Southernmost Title,
Skinny Dipper Cruises and ACA Joes.
According to Executive Director Julian Ward, "Since its inception in 1978, the Guild has grown from a handful of
dedicated business persons to a membership of over 350 members as of April 2004. The membership consists of a
collection of Gay owned or managed business, as well as,Gay friendly businesses with the goal of serving the Gay
