These two wonderful women came to us from Chicago, Illinois. According to their
planner, who nominated them to be a Featured Couple, it is hard to think of a more
deserving couple this time around.
Both Ann and Laura are in professions that assist others in need and with their personal
development. They are in constant service to other people and seldom, if ever, have a
chance to be pampered and looked-after themselves. In fact their planner had to
constantly reinforce to them that our principal directive is client comfort and ease. We
think they eventually warmed to the concept as you can see in the photo above.

| The original plan was for the (20+) wedding guests to rendezvous at a local restaurant and then be transported, en-masse, to the beach locale selected for the ceremony. Due to concerns about the weather, their planner made arrangements to use the property's cabaret as a rain location. The generous management worked with us to make that possible (Thanks "Fizz"). As it turned out, the location was perfect. |
One of the most wonderful
things about these clients was
the attendance and support of
so many friends and family who
came from Chicago and
elsewhere to commemorate Ann
and Laura's special day! Kudos!

The ceremony was performed by Key
West
Mayor Jimmy Weekley at the beautiful La
Terazza de Marti, in the crystal room.
Ann and Laura opted for tropical leis in
lieu of more traditional flowers. The
brides' hand-strung Leis were
composed of light and dark Dendrobium
orchids. All the parents' leis were of the
light orchids.
Their planner assisted in the
composition of the ceremony and Ann
and Laura shared their own personal
vows with each other.

Following the ceremony, the
entire party moved to a
restaurant for dinner.

clients, their planner made

reservations for the group in
addition to managing all the

the cake handling went perfectly for Ann and Laura.

called the planner from Chicago the week of the
event with the desire to give this gift to the ladies. He

lavender buttercream icing, topped with Casablanca
lilies and Dendrobiums matching the orchids used
also in the leis.
Our baker and florist were called in and worked
together to do the cake for us in time for the big day,
per Rita's request.
