savvyplanners.com Code of Ethics & Client’s Bill of Rights

savvyplanners.com holds itself to the highest service provision standards of our industry.  We regularly network and converse with varied industry colleagues and other professionals with whom we work.  We do this to provide you knowledge of the most recent enhancements and developments in the wedding industry and the very best level of service we can.

You are entitled to, and assured of, the most forthcoming and genuine support, information, guidance and assistance from the savvyplanners.com staff and management.

Our client care code of ethics requires the following:

  1. Your event will be orchestrated by an experienced, certified, professional planner in conjunction with our, company trained, day-of teams.
  2. Your personal information is as carefully maintained and protected as our own.
  3. We do not allow “preferred” vendors to take preference over the vendor of the client’s choice.
  4. We will make every bona fide effort to locate the service provider that can best produce the wishes of our client without regard for potential commissions.
  5. We do not “mark-up” client items.  Your statement shall show that what you were quoted is what you’ll pay.
  6. The client is entitled to a written agreement free of “blank spots” or missing information.
  7. Our clients are protected by an Event Agreement/Contract.
  8. Our recommendations to our clients shall be based on our regularly updated knowledge of available vendors and service providers best suited to match the client’s desires and requirements.
  9. The client has every opportunity to question our recommendations.
  10. We pledge to consult the client on each and every decision relative to their event.
  11. In keeping with the laws of our home office’s state (NJ), all clients are permitted to cancel their agreement with us within three (3) business days provided they do so by express mail or courier to the address of the home office.
  12. Our client is entitled to the most professional and courteous care possible.
  13. In the event of a cancellation due to “acts of God” or “Force Majeure”, we pledge to make every attempt to keep the event afloat within the bounds of reasonable effort and client safety which may include, but is not limited to, seeking assistance from those who might be able to assist in rescheduling and renegotiating events to the benefit of our client or any steps that can be attempted on their behalf.
  14. Our clients are to receive reasonable access to the management or staff of savvyplanners.com for the purpose of addressing their questions or concerns and in a timely manner.
  15. Our destination wedding clients are assured of our care and assistance from the date of arrival until the completion of the contracted event.
